A personal chef for food allergies and gluten-free eating

Every ingredient checked. Every meal cooked in your kitchen. Nothing left to chance.

Living with a serious allergy or celiac disease means reading every label and never fully relaxing about takeout. Your Eats by Nicole chef takes that on. They plan the week around your allergies, check every item they buy, and cook in your kitchen with care to prevent cross-contact, so the whole household can eat the same good food.

Allergies handled the same careful way, every week

We start with the details

On your consultation you tell us every allergy and how serious it is, plus anything else the household avoids. It goes into your chef’s notes before menu planning starts.

Every item is checked

Your chef reads the label on every item they buy for your allergens, including sauces, broths and spice blends, where gluten and nuts often hide.

Cooked with care for cross-contact

Your chef cooks in your kitchen and takes care that nothing on your list comes into contact with your food.

You approve every menu

You see each week’s menu before cook day, so you can catch anything before it’s bought.

What an allergy-friendly week looks like

Dishes from real menus our chefs have cooked, shared without names.

A gluten-free, dairy-free household

  • Chicken bowl with cilantro-lime jasmine rice, corn pico and salsa verde
  • Honey ginger salmon with roasted Brussels sprouts, quinoa and mango salsa
  • NY strip steak with parsnip purée and gingered Swiss chard
  • Gluten-free brown rice fusilli with dairy-free pesto, grilled chicken and garlic asparagus
Gluten-free and dairy-free, with egg, shellfish and nightshade allergies

  • Tarragon salmon with apple fennel slaw and lemon quinoa pilaf
  • Whole rosemary chicken thighs with roasted yams, beets and garlic broccolini
  • Five-spice pork tenderloin with bok choy and sesame cucumber salad

Allergies we cook around: nut and peanut allergies, celiac and gluten-free, dairy-free and lactose intolerance, eggs, shellfish and fish, sesame, soy, corn, nightshades, and households with more than one.

Families: One family we cook for has a child with a severe walnut allergy and a parent who eats gluten-free and dairy-free. The chef cooks one menu that works for everyone, with simple versions for the kids.

Matched with the right chef

We match you with the chef whose strengths fit your household. Hadiya Pleasant-Jones designs family dinners around allergies and restrictions in Los Angeles, and Jessica Maidlow cooks for busy families in Orange County.

Once you’re onboarded, we introduce you to your chef by name. If they’re ever unavailable, another chef on the team steps in with your full menu history.

Food allergy and gluten-free questions

Can you cook for a child with a serious food allergy?

Yes. Tell us every allergy and how severe it is on your consultation, and your chef builds each menu around it. You review and approve every menu before cook day.

Is it safe for celiac disease?

Your chef checks every item they buy for gluten and cooks with care to prevent cross-contact in your kitchen. If your kitchen also cooks with gluten, tell us on your call and we’ll plan around it.

Can one menu work for everyone in the house?

Usually, yes. Most weeks the whole household eats the same meals, with separate versions only where an allergy requires it.

Do allergies cost more?

No. Allergies, gluten-free and dairy-free cooking are part of the service.

Can you cook a gluten-free dinner party or holiday meal?

Yes. We regularly plan dinner parties around gluten-free, dairy-free and allergic guests. See dinner parties
