A personal chef for recovery and health conditions

Nourishing food, cooked in your kitchen, while you focus on getting well.

Recovering from surgery, going through treatment, or managing a condition like an autoimmune disease takes energy that cooking shouldn’t. Your Eats by Nicole chef plans and cooks a week of fresh meals in your home, following the guidance from your doctor or dietitian. Many clients book it for a parent, partner or friend.

Built around your care team’s plan

Your care team’s plan comes first

If your doctor or dietitian has given you guidance, we build the menu from it. We work directly with dietitians when a client has one.

A menu you approve

You or the person you’re booking for approve every week’s menu before cook day.

Cooked in the home

The chef shops, cooks, packages and labels every meal, then cleans up. Nothing to carry, nothing to reheat from a delivery box.

Easy to adjust

Needs change during recovery. Tell us and next week’s menu changes with them.

What a week looks like

Dishes from real menus our chefs have cooked, shared without names.

Booking for someone else: You can book and manage the service for a family member. We’ll coordinate the menu with you, them, or their dietitian, whichever works best.

Matched with the right chef

We match each household with the chef whose strengths fit. Lucy Arnell, a Certified Nutrition Coach, cooks for Los Angeles households working toward a health goal.

Once you’re onboarded, we introduce you to your chef by name. If they’re ever unavailable, another chef on the team steps in with your full menu history.

Recovery and health questions

Can you cook for someone recovering from surgery or going through treatment?

Yes. Your chef follows the guidance from the doctor or dietitian, whether that’s gentle, low-fat meals after surgery or a plan for chemotherapy or an autoimmune condition. You approve every menu. We don’t give medical advice.

Do you work with dietitians?

Yes. If you have a dietitian, we can build your menu from their plan and keep them in the loop.

Can I book for my mom or dad?

Yes. Many clients book for a parent or loved one and manage the menu for them.

Can you cook for an autoimmune protocol or low FODMAP?

Yes. Tell us the plan on your call and your chef builds each week around it.

Can I pause during a hospital stay?

Yes. Skip or reschedule with a week’s notice.
